Every google meet is assigned a meet code. A meet code is always in the following format: abc-defg-hij.
You may see other codes linking meets such as nicknames, dial in codes and pins but the following 3-4-3 format is the official meet code format for a Google Meet. If you are joining a meet which has been scheduled and given a meet code to join then you can give that code. In most circumstances however you won't need the meet code as they will either have been included in your Google Apps as the meeting host has scheduled the meet into your calendar or your joining via a link e.g. such as by Google Classroom.
In the sidebar, click Join a meeting and enter a meeting code.
Click the event, then click Join with Google Meet.
